This project is read-only.
There are several project templates available, both for WPF and Silverlight. The easiest way is to follow these steps:

Installing the project templates

There are 2 ways of installing the project templates:

1. Templates via Visual Studio extension (recommended)

2. Install manually
  1. Copy the project templates to %MyDocuments%\Visual Studio 2xxx\Templates\ProjectTemplates\Visual C#\
  2. You can now create new projects using the new templates. If the templates are not visible, try using at least the .NET framework 3.5 because this is required for the templates to show up.

Note: when you add a Catel (WPF or Silverlight) package to *any* project, the project templates will automatically be installed

Using the project templates

WPF

1. Create a new project. Make sure that at least .NET Framework 3.5 is selected as target framework. The templates can be found under the Catel folder as shown in the image below:

2. As soon as the project is created, the only thing left to do is add references to the Catel libraries. You can either do this manually or use NuGet.

Silverlight

1. Create a new project. Make sure that at least .NET Framework 4 is selected as target framework. The templates can be found under the Catel folder as shown in the image below:

2. As soon as the project is created, the only thing left to do is add references to the Catel libraries. You can either do this manually or use NuGet.
