Why don't you use git instead of hg?

Also why don't you use GitHub? =)

I find that the way of git branching and forking is simpler and in combination with github it becomes a real cool stuff.

There must be extremely good reasons to change source control type. So if you have them, let us know and we might consider it.

Okay, is there some good manual how to make good workflow for open source project with Hg and Codeplex (pull request), upstreaming, merging? When I used Hg to fork this project I saw that my single commit is merged into master branch of main repo and it is on my repo separately, so I have two identical commits now in my local repo after pulling from main repo (upstream). In git I see good merged tree where my commit is in the main tree and there is no dublicate. What I'm doing wrong?
